Surah 5 Al-Maaida, ayah 51 (5:51)

Ayah 5:51

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلْيَهُودَ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ۝٥١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo alyahooda waalnnasara awliyaa baAAduhum awliyao baAAdin waman yatawallahum minkum fainnahu minhum inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena

English · Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO die ihr glaubt, nehmt nicht die Juden und die Christen zu Schutzherren! Sie sind einer des anderen Schutzherren. Und wer von euch sie zu Schutzherren nimmt, der gehört zu ihnen. Gewiß, Allah leitet das ungerechte Volk nicht recht.
