Surah 5 Al-Maaida, ayah 83 (5:83)

Ayah 5:83

وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰٓ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱكْتُبْنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ۝٨٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWaitha samiAAoo ma onzila ila alrrasooli tara aAAyunahum tafeedu mina alddamAAi mimma AAarafoo mina alhaqqi yaqooloona rabbana amanna faoktubna maAAa alshshahideena

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWenn sie hören, was zum Gesandten (als Offenbarung) herabgesandt worden ist, siehst du ihre Augen von Tränen überfließen wegen dessen, was sie (darin) als Wahrheit erkannt haben. Sie sagen: "Unser Herr, wir glauben. Schreibe uns unter den Zeugnis Ablegenden auf.
