Surah 5 Al-Maaida, ayah 91 (5:91)

Ayah 5:91

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ ٱلْعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ فِى ٱلْخَمْرِ وَٱلْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَعَنِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ۝٩١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilInnama yureedu alshshaytanu an yooqiAAa baynakumu alAAadawata waalbaghdaa fee alkhamri waalmaysiri wayasuddakum AAan thikri Allahi waAAani alssalati fahal antum muntahoona

English · Saheeh InternationalSatan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist?

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDer Satan will (ja) zwischen euch nur Feindschaft und Haß säen durch berauschenden Trank und Glücksspiel und euch vom Gedenken Allahs und vom Gebet abhalten. Werdet ihr (damit) nun wohl aufhören?
