Surah 5 Al-Maaida, ayah 94 (5:94)

Ayah 5:94

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُۥٓ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَخَافُهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۝٩٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa ayyuha allatheena amanoo layabluwannakumu Allahu bishayin mina alssaydi tanaluhu aydeekum warimahukum liyaAAlama Allahu man yakhafuhu bialghaybi famani iAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabun aleemun

English · Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, Allah will surely test you through something of the game that your hands and spears [can] reach, that Allah may make evident those who fear Him unseen. And whoever transgresses after that - for him is a painful punishment.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO die ihr glaubt, Allah wird euch ganz gewiß mit etwas von dem Jagdwild prüfen, das eure Hände und Lanzen erreichen (können), damit Allah denjenigen kenne, der Ihn im Verborgenen fürchtet. Wer nun danach eine Übertretung begeht, für den gibt es schmerzhafte Strafe.
