Surah 5 Al-Maaida, ayah 96 (5:96)

Ayah 5:96

أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُۥ مَتَٰعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ۝٩٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilOhilla lakum saydu albahri wataAAamuhu mataAAan lakum walilssayyarati wahurrima AAalaykum saydu albarri ma dumtum huruman waittaqoo Allaha allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona

English · Saheeh InternationalLawful to you is game from the sea and its food as provision for you and the travelers, but forbidden to you is game from the land as long as you are in the state of ihram. And fear Allah to whom you will be gathered.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasErlaubt sind euch die Jagdtiere des Meeres und (all) das Eßbare aus ihm als Nießbrauch für euch und für die Reisenden; doch verboten ist euch die Jagd auf die Landtiere, solange ihr im Zustand der Pilgerweihe seid. Und fürchtet Allah, zu Dem ihr versammelt werdet.
