Surah 57 Al-Hadid, ayah 29 (57:29)

Ayah 57:29

لِّئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ مِّن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ۝٢٩

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilLialla yaAAlama ahlu alkitabi alla yaqdiroona AAala shayin min fadli Allahi waanna alfadla biyadi Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi

English · Saheeh International[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

German · Bubenheim & Elyas(Dies ist) damit die Leute der Schrift wissen, daß sie über nichts von Allahs Huld Macht haben, sondern daß die Huld in Allahs Hand liegt. Er gewährt sie, wem Er will. Und Allah besitzt große Huld.
