Surah 58 Al-Mujaadila, ayah 4 (58:4)

Ayah 58:4

فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّا فَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا ذَٰلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۝٤

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaman lam yajid fasiyamu shahrayni mutatabiAAayni min qabli an yatamassa faman lam yastatiAA faitAAamu sitteena miskeenan thalika lituminoo biAllahi warasoolihi watilka hudoodu Allahi walilkafireena AAathabun aleemun

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd he who does not find [a slave] - then a fast for two months consecutively before they touch one another; and he who is unable - then the feeding of sixty poor persons. That is for you to believe [completely] in Allah and His Messenger; and those are the limits [set by] Allah. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWer aber keine (Möglichkeit dazu) findet, (der hat) zwei aufeinanderfolgende Monate (zu) fasten, bevor sie beide einander berühren. Wer (es) aber nicht kann, (der hat) sechzig Arme (zu) speisen. Dies, damit ihr an Allah und Seinen Gesandten glaubt. Dies sind Allahs Grenzen
