Open Quran HifzAyah 58:8
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَٰجَوْنَ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَآءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilAlam tara ila allatheena nuhoo AAani alnnajwa thumma yaAAoodoona lima nuhoo AAanhu wayatanajawna bialithmi waalAAudwani wamaAAsiyati alrrasooli waitha jaooka hayyawka bima lam yuhayyika bihi Allahu wayaqooloona fee anfusihim lawla yuAAaththibuna Allahu bima naqoolu hasbuhum jahannamu yaslawnaha fabisa almaseeru
English · Saheeh InternationalHave you not considered those who were forbidden from private conversation, then they return to that which they were forbidden and converse among themselves about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that [word] by which Allah does not greet you and say among themselves, "Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?" Sufficient for them is Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the destination.
German · Bubenheim & ElyasSiehst du nicht jene, denen verboten wurde, vertrauliche Gespräche zu führen, die aber hierauf zurückkehren zu dem, was ihnen verboten wurde und miteinander über Sünde, feindseliges Vorgehen und Ungehorsam gegen den Gesandten vertraulich sprechen? Und wenn sie zu dir kommen, grüßen sie dich, wie nicht einmal Allah dich grüßt, und sagen unter sich: "Würde Allah uns doch nur strafen für das, was wir sagen!" Ihre Genüge ist die Hölle, der sie ausgesetzt sein werden - ein schlimmer Ausgang!
