Surah 6 Al-An'aam, ayah 119 (6:119)

Ayah 6:119

وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا ٱضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَآئِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ۝١١٩

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWama lakum alla takuloo mimma thukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi waqad fassala lakum ma harrama AAalaykum illa ma idturirtum ilayhi wainna katheeran layudilloona biahwaihim bighayri AAilmin inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu bialmuAAtadeena

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWas ist mit euch, daß ihr nicht von dem eßt, worüber Allahs Name ausgesprochen worden ist, wo Er euch doch ausführlich dargelegt hat, was Er euch verboten hat, außer dem, wozu ihr gezwungen werdet? Viele führen wahrlich (andere) durch ihre Neigungen ohne Wissen in die Irre. Aber dein Herr weiß sehr wohl über die Übertreter Bescheid.
