Surah 6 Al-An'aam, ayah 96 (6:96)

Ayah 6:96

فَالِقُ ٱلْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ۝٩٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaliqu alisbahi wajaAAala allayla sakanan waalshshamsa waalqamara husbanan thalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi

English · Saheeh International[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasEr, Der den Morgen anbrechen läßt'. Er hat die Nacht zur Ruhe(zeit) und die Sonne und den Mond als (Mittel der) Berechnung gemacht. Das ist die Anordnung des Allmächtigen und Allwissenden.
