Surah 63 Al-Munaafiqoon, ayah 2 (63:2)

Ayah 63:2

ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ۝٢

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilIttakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi innahum saa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

English · Saheeh InternationalThey have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
