Surah 7 Al-A'raaf, ayah 131 (7:131)

Ayah 7:131

فَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوا۟ لَنَا هَٰذِهِۦ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَطَّيَّرُوا۟ بِمُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَلَآ إِنَّمَا طَٰٓئِرُهُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ۝١٣١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaitha jaathumu alhasanatu qaloo lana hathihi wain tusibhum sayyiatun yattayyaroo bimoosa waman maAAahu ala innama tairuhum AAinda Allahi walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona

English · Saheeh InternationalBut when good came to them, they said, "This is ours [by right]." And if a bad [condition] struck them, they saw an evil omen in Moses and those with him. Unquestionably, their fortune is with Allah, but most of them do not know.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasAber wenn dann etwas Gutes zu ihnen kam, sagten sie: "Dies gehört uns." und wenn sie etwas Böses traf, sahen sie ein (böses) Vorzeichen in Musa und denjenigen, die mit ihm waren. Aber ihr Vorzeichen ist sicherlich bei Allah, jedoch wissen die meisten von ihnen nicht.
