Surah 7 Al-A'raaf, ayah 26 (7:26)

Ayah 7:26

يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَٰرِى سَوْءَٰتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا وَلِبَاسُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ۝٢٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa banee adama qad anzalna AAalaykum libasan yuwaree sawatikum wareeshan walibasu alttaqwa thalika khayrun thalika min ayati Allahi laAAallahum yaththakkaroona

English · Saheeh InternationalO children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO Kinder Adams, Wir haben auf euch Kleidung hinabgesandt, die eure Blöße verbirgt, und Gefieder. Aber die Kleidung der Gottesfurcht, die ist besser. Das ist (eines) von Allahs Zeichen, auf daß sie bedenken mögen.
