Surah 7 Al-A'raaf, ayah 46 (7:46)

Ayah 7:46

وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ وَعَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّۢا بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ وَنَادَوْا۟ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ۝٤٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWabaynahuma hijabun waAAala alaAArafi rijalun yaAArifoona kullan biseemahum wanadaw ashaba aljannati an salamun AAalaykum lam yadkhulooha wahum yatmaAAoona

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd between them will be a partition, and on [its] elevations are men who recognize all by their mark. And they call out to the companions of Paradise, "Peace be upon you." They have not [yet] entered it, but they long intensely.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasUnd zwischen ihnen ist ein Vorhang. Und auf den Höhen sind Männer, die jeden an seinem Merkmal erkennen. Sie rufen den Insassen des (Paradies)gartens zu: "Friede sei auf euch!" Sie sind aber in ihn nicht eingetreten, und sie begehren (es) doch.
