Surah 7 Al-A'raaf, ayah 51 (7:51)

Ayah 7:51

ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا فَٱلْيَوْمَ نَنسَىٰهُمْ كَمَا نَسُوا۟ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ۝٥١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilAllatheena ittakhathoo deenahum lahwan walaAAiban wagharrathumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma nansahum kama nasoo liqaa yawmihim hatha wama kanoo biayatina yajhadoona

English · Saheeh InternationalWho took their religion as distraction and amusement and whom the worldly life deluded." So today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day of theirs and for having rejected Our verses.

German · Bubenheim & Elyasdie ihre Religion zum Gegenstand der Zerstreuung und des Spiels genommen haben und die das diesseitige Leben getäuscht hat." Heute werden Wir sie vergessen, so wie sie die Begegnung mit diesem ihrem Tag vergaßen und wie sie Unsere Zeichen zu verleugnen pflegten.
