Surah 8 Al-Anfaal, ayah 70 (8:70)

Ayah 8:70

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّمَن فِىٓ أَيْدِيكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَسْرَىٰٓ إِن يَعْلَمِ ٱللَّهُ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ خَيْرًا يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًا مِّمَّآ أُخِذَ مِنكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ۝٧٠

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYa ayyuha alnnabiyyu qul liman fee aydeekum mina alasra in yaAAlami Allahu fee quloobikum khayran yutikum khayran mimma okhitha minkum wayaghfir lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun

English · Saheeh InternationalO Prophet, say to whoever is in your hands of the captives, "If Allah knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasO Prophet, sag zu denen von den Gefangenen (, die sich) in euren Händen (befinden): "Wenn Allah in euren Herzen etwas Gutes weiß, wird Er euch etwas Besseres geben als das, was euch genommen worden ist, und wird euch vergeben. Allah ist Allvergebend und Barmherzig."
