Surah 9 At-Tawba, ayah 12 (9:12)

Ayah 9:12

وَإِن نَّكَثُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا۟ فِى دِينِكُمْ فَقَٰتِلُوٓا۟ أَئِمَّةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ إِنَّهُمْ لَآ أَيْمَٰنَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنتَهُونَ۝١٢

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWain nakathoo aymanahum min baAAdi AAahdihim wataAAanoo fee deenikum faqatiloo aimmata alkufri innahum la aymana lahum laAAallahum yantahoona

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWenn sie ihre Eide aber nach Vertragsabschluß brechen und eure Religion schmähen, dann kämpft gegen die Anführer des Unglaubens - für sie gibt es ja keine Eide -, auf daß sie aufhören mögen.
