Surah 9 At-Tawba, ayah 77 (9:77)

Ayah 9:77

فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُۥ بِمَآ أَخْلَفُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ۝٧٧

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaaAAqabahum nifaqan fee quloobihim ila yawmi yalqawnahu bima akhlafoo Allaha ma waAAadoohu wabima kanoo yakthiboona

English · Saheeh InternationalSo He penalized them with hypocrisy in their hearts until the Day they will meet Him - because they failed Allah in what they promised Him and because they [habitually] used to lie.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasSo setzte Er als Folge davon in ihre Herzen Heuchelei bis zum Tag, an dem sie Ihm begegnen werden, dafür, daß sie gegenüber Allah brachen, was sie Ihm versprochen hatten, und daß sie zu lügen pflegten.
