Open Quran HifzAyah 9:92
وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا مَآ أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَآ أَجِدُ مَآ أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ تَوَلَّوا۟ وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا أَلَّا يَجِدُوا۟ مَا يُنفِقُونَ
Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWala AAala allatheena itha ma atawka litahmilahum qulta la ajidu ma ahmilukum AAalayhi tawallaw waaAAyunuhum tafeedu mina alddamAAi hazanan alla yajidoo ma yunfiqoona
English · Saheeh InternationalNor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you that you might give them mounts, you said, "I can find nothing for you to ride upon." They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allah].
German · Bubenheim & Elyasund (auch) nicht gegen diejenigen, die, als sie zu dir kamen, damit du ihnen gäbest, (worauf) sie mitreiten (könnten), und du sagtest: "Ich finde nichts, worauf ich euch mitreiten lassen kann", sich abkehrten, während ihre Augen von Tränen überflossen aus Traurigkeit darüber, daß sie nichts fanden, was sie ausgeben (konnten).
