Surah 9 At-Tawba, ayah 96 (9:96)

Ayah 9:96

يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ۝٩٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilYahlifoona lakum litardaw AAanhum fain tardaw AAanhum fainna Allaha la yarda AAani alqawmi alfasiqeena

English · Saheeh InternationalThey swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them - indeed, Allah is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasSie schwören euch, damit ihr mit ihnen zufrieden seid. Und wenn ihr auch mit ihnen zufrieden seid, so ist Allah doch nicht zufrieden mit dem Volk der Frevler.
