Surah 12 Yusuf, ayah 31 (12:31)

Ayah 12:31

فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ أَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَعْتَدَتْ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَـًٔا وَءَاتَتْ كُلَّ وَٰحِدَةٍ مِّنْهُنَّ سِكِّينًا وَقَالَتِ ٱخْرُجْ عَلَيْهِنَّ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْنَهُۥٓ أَكْبَرْنَهُۥ وَقَطَّعْنَ أَيْدِيَهُنَّ وَقُلْنَ حَٰشَ لِلَّهِ مَا هَٰذَا بَشَرًا إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا مَلَكٌ كَرِيمٌ۝٣١

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFalamma samiAAat bimakrihinna arsalat ilayhinna waaAAtadat lahunna muttakaan waatat kulla wahidatin minhunna sikkeenan waqalati okhruj AAalayhinna falamma raaynahu akbarnahu waqattaAAna aydiyahunna waqulna hasha lillahi ma hatha basharan in hatha illa malakun kareemun

English · Saheeh InternationalSo when she heard of their scheming, she sent for them and prepared for them a banquet and gave each one of them a knife and said [to Joseph], "Come out before them." And when they saw him, they greatly admired him and cut their hands and said, "Perfect is Allah! This is not a man; this is none but a noble angel."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasAls sie nun von ihren Ränken hörte, sandte sie zu ihnen und bereitete ihnen ein Gastmahl'. Sie gab einer jeden von ihnen ein Messer und sagte (zu Yusuf): "Komm zu ihnen heraus." Als sie ihn sahen, fanden sie ihn groß(artig), und sie zerschnitten sich ihre Hände und sagten: "Allah behüte! Das ist kein Mensch, das ist nur ein ehrenvoller Engel."
