Surah 12 Yusuf, ayah 32 (12:32)

Ayah 12:32

قَالَتْ فَذَٰلِكُنَّ ٱلَّذِى لُمْتُنَّنِى فِيهِ وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ فَٱسْتَعْصَمَ وَلَئِن لَّمْ يَفْعَلْ مَآ ءَامُرُهُۥ لَيُسْجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونًا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰغِرِينَ۝٣٢

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilQalat fathalikunna allathee lumtunnanee feehi walaqad rawadtuhu AAan nafsihi faistAAsama walain lam yafAAal ma amuruhu layusjananna walayakoonan mina alssaghireena

English · Saheeh InternationalShe said, "That is the one about whom you blamed me. And I certainly sought to seduce him, but he firmly refused; and if he will not do what I order him, he will surely be imprisoned and will be of those debased."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasSie sagte: "Seht, das ist der, dessentwegen ihr mich getadelt habt. Ich habe allerdings versucht, ihn zu verführen, doch er widerstand. Und wenn er nicht tut, was ich ihm befehle, wird er ganz gewiß ins Gefängnis gesteckt werden, und er wird gewiß zu den Geringgeachteten gehören."
