Surah 13 Ar-Ra'd, ayah 18 (13:18)

Ayah 13:18

لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لَهُۥ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ ٱلْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ۝١٨

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilLillatheena istajaboo lirabbihimu alhusna waallatheena lam yastajeeboo lahu law anna lahum ma fee alardi jameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahu laiftadaw bihi olaika lahum sooo alhisabi wamawahum jahannamu wabisa almihadu

English · Saheeh InternationalFor those who have responded to their Lord is the best [reward], but those who did not respond to Him - if they had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby. Those will have the worst account, and their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasFür diejenigen, die auf ihren Herrn hören, ist das Beste. Diejenigen aber, die nicht auf Ihn hören, wenn sie alles hätten, was auf der Erde ist, und noch einmal das Gleiche dazu, würden sie sich sicherlich damit loskaufen. Für sie wird es eine böse Abrechnung geben, und ihr Zufluchtsort ist die Hölle - eine schlimme Lagerstatt!
