Surah 39 Az-Zumar, ayah 47 (39:47)

Ayah 39:47

وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفْتَدَوْا۟ بِهِۦ مِن سُوٓءِ ٱلْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَحْتَسِبُونَ۝٤٧

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilWalaw anna lillatheena thalamoo ma fee alardi jameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahu laiftadaw bihi min sooi alAAathabi yawma alqiyamati wabada lahum mina Allahi ma lam yakoonoo yahtasiboona

English · Saheeh InternationalAnd if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasWenn diejenigen, die Unrecht tun, alles hätten, was auf der Erde ist, und noch einmal das Gleiche dazu, würden sie sich sicherlich damit von der bösen Strafe am Tag der Auferstehung loskaufen. Ihnen wird dann (nämlich) von Allah her klar, womit sie nicht gerechnet haben.
