Surah 2 Al-Baqara, ayah 36 (2:36)

Ayah 2:36

فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ۝٣٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilFaazallahuma alshshaytanu AAanha faakhrajahuma mimma kana feehi waqulna ihbitoo baAAdukum libaAAdin AAaduwwun walakum fee alardi mustaqarrun wamataAAun ila heenin

English · Saheeh InternationalBut Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDoch Satan entfernte sie davon, und da vertrieb er sie aus dem, worin sie (an Glückseligkeit) gewesen waren. Wir sagten: "Geht fort! Einige von euch seien der anderen Feind. Und auf der Erde sollt ihr Aufenthalt und Nießbrauch auf Zeit haben."
