Surah 3 Aal-i-Imraan, ayah 185 (3:185)

Ayah 3:185

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ۝١٨٥

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilKullu nafsin thaiqatu almawti wainnama tuwaffawna ojoorakum yawma alqiyamati faman zuhziha AAani alnnari waodkhila aljannata faqad faza wama alhayatu alddunya illa mataAAu alghuroori

English · Saheeh InternationalEvery soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasJede Seele wird den Tod kosten. Und erst am Tag der Auferstehung wird euch euer Lohn in vollem Maß zukommen. Wer dann dem (Höllen)feuer entrückt und in den (Paradies)garten eingelassen wird, der hat fürwahr einen Erfolg erzielt. Und das diesseitige Leben ist nur trügerischer Genuß.
