Surah 3 Aal-i-Imraan, ayah 186 (3:186)

Ayah 3:186

لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ أَذًى كَثِيرًا وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ۝١٨٦

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilLatublawunna fee amwalikum waanfusikum walatasmaAAunna mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum wamina allatheena ashrakoo athan katheeran wain tasbiroo watattaqoo fainna thalika min AAazmi alomoori

English · Saheeh InternationalYou will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasIhr werdet ganz gewiß in eurem Besitz und in eurer eigenen Person geprüft werden, und ihr werdet ganz gewiß von denjenigen, denen die Schrift vor euch gegeben wurde, und denen, die (Allah etwas) beigesellen, viel Beleidigendes zu hören bekommen. Doch wenn ihr standhaft und gottesfürchtig seid, so gehört dies gewiß zur Entschlossenheit (in der Handhabung) der Angelegenheiten.
