Surah 9 At-Tawba, ayah 113 (9:113)

Ayah 9:113

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِىِّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوٓا۟ أُو۟لِى قُرْبَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ۝١١٣

Arabic transliteration · Source: TanzilMa kana lilnnabiyyi waallatheena amanoo an yastaghfiroo lilmushrikeena walaw kanoo olee qurba min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahum annahum ashabu aljaheemi

English · Saheeh InternationalIt is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDem Propheten und denjenigen, die glauben, steht es nicht zu, für die Götzendiener um Vergebung zu bitten, auch wenn es Verwandte wären, nachdem es ihnen klargeworden ist, daß sie Insassen des Höllenbrandes sein werden.
