Surah 9 At-Tawba, ayah 79 (9:79)

Ayah 9:79

ٱلَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ ٱلْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِى ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ سَخِرَ ٱللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۝٧٩

English · Saheeh InternationalThose who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them - Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment.

German · Bubenheim & ElyasDiejenigen, die gegen die Freiwilligen unter den Gläubigen wegen der Almosen verhöhnen und (auch) gegen diejenigen, die nichts als ihre Mühe (als Leistung zu erbringen) finden, und dann über sie spotten - Allah spottet über sie, und für sie wird es schmerzhafte Strafe geben.
